ASHCA Summit: Call for abstracts

Evidence-based interventions, emerging issues that impact workers’ safety, and model programs for sustaining an adequate, safe agricultural workforce are among topics sought for poster-sessions-with-lightning-talks at the North American Agricultural Safety Summit, March 19-20, 2020, at Bally’s of Las Vegas. Deadline for submission is Nov. 20. Abstracts will be evaluated per the criteria: a) likelihood of generating dialogue and collaboration among researchers, program implementers and industry partners; and b) relevance to current and emerging priorities in production agriculture. Submissions must be emailed as a Microsoft Word document to the National Farm Medicine Center Administration at smith.kathleen@marshfieldresearch.org. ASHCA calls for safety award nominees

Do you know a person or organization that is a leader in agricultural safety, either through training, collaboration, promotion, education or research? The Agricultural Safety and Health Council of America seeks nominations for nine categories of safety awards to be presented March 19, 2020, during the North American Agricultural Safety Summit at Bally’s of Las Vegas. Honorees will receive complimentary registration to the Summit and one recipient will receive the WCF “Collaboration in Research to Practice” award and $2,500 cash prize.
